According to reports, Brett Favre has signed a short contract with the Vikings that will go into the 2009-2010 NFL Season. Last season, Brett Favre at 38 put up career numbers in passing. Hip Hop artist Tru Life turned himself into a authorities after being sought for questioning about a stabbing that occurred in the Lower Eastside, which left one wounded, and an 18 year old dead. According to reports, Tru Life is being questioned for the stabbing, which is believed to be a retaliation for the murder of Tru Life's associate Michael Slater. The wounded has been identified as Michael Black, but the deceased has not been identified to the press.

Kernel Records, a music label based in Finland, has filed a lawsuit against music producer Timbaland and Pop singer Nelly Furtado. Kernel Records reports that Timbaland stole elements from a song previously recorded by Finnish artists in order to create the song "Do It." The song appeared on Furtado the singer's third album Loose in '06, which also featured hit singles such as "Promiscuous" and "Say It Right."

The Finnish record company alleges that production from "Do It" was taken from "Acidjazzed Evening," a song originally recorded in 2000 by composer Janne Suni. According to Kernel Records, Timbaland "knowingly and willfully stole" the song.

Timbaland responded by saying...

"This mess is ridiculous," he told Maryland-based radio show Elliot in the Morning. " I can’t really discuss it because it’s a legal matter. But that’s why people don’t believe it. It’s from a video game, idiot. Sample and stole is two different things. Stole is like I walked in your house, watched you make it, stole your protools, went to my house and told Nelly, ‘Hey, I got a great song for you.’ Sample is like you heard it somewhere, and you just sampled. Maybe you didn’t know who it was by because it don’t have the credits listed.”

Come on Timbaland...you got money brotha. Even if it came from a video game, clear the sample. Ya beats are fire...you definitely don't steal which we at Fortune Infinite agree with, but you been in the game too long not to know the legalities of the game!!! Good luck with that lawsuit!!!

In Blantyre, Malawi, the country's highest court ruled Friday that pop star can adopt 3-year-old Chifundo “Mercy” James. “I am ecstatic,” Madonna said in a statement in which she also thanked the court. “My family and I look forward to sharing our lives with her.” Madonna’s lawyer Alan Chinula said he would now arrange a passport for Chifundo, which could take several days, and was awaiting word from Madonna.

Lil Wayne's upcoming film Hurricane Season, which co-stars Forest Whitaker and Bow Wow, has reportedly run out of money and has been pushed back indefinitely. Weinstein Company, the studio that owns the marketing and distribution rights to Hurricane Season has literally run out of money for the project. Hurricane Season finished in 2008, and was scheduled to drop early 2009. Hurricane Season, which starred Lil Wayne as a High School student, and Bow Wow as a basketball star will be pushed back indefinitely until more funds are provided for the project. unFORTUNEately we wont see this film any time soon unless it goes straight to DVD, NO LIMIT style!!!!

An unidentified U.S. pregnant woman working in Mexico swam across a river to flee her Mexican boss. A pregnant woman and her boyfriend fled their boss after finding out he was running a drug cartel, and plotting to kidnap their baby at birth.

The couple were able to seek help from a local church, however when they ran into a Mexican immigrant check point, the couple realized they had left their identification back at their boss' ranch. Without many options the couple hid at a discreet location until later in the evening, when they swam across a river with heavy currents. The couple the turned themselves in to U.S Border Patrols where they were identified as U.S. citizens. The couple and their baby are in safe standings, but without their identification it is difficult for them to get work.

The 25-year-old laborer from a prominent family in the province of Qena, one of Egypt poorer and most conservative regions, had unsuccessfully petitioned his father for two years to marry the girl before he heated up a knife and sliced off his reproductive organ and mutilated his testicles

The man is in stable condition, however the doctors were unable to re-attach his penis.

Hip-Hop artist Charly Wingate a.k.a MaX B was found guilty today for master minding the attempted robbery of the two wealthy men, Allen Plowden and David Taylor, which left Taylor shot and killed. Max B will be sentenced on July 31, 2009. According to reports Max B's girl Gina Conway turned on the rapper. Conway faces up to 10 years in prison.

The 232.1 million dollar Powerball Jackpot winner has been revealed as Neal Wanless, 23 of Winner, South Dakota. Wanless accepted his winnings today in Pierre, South Dakota. Wanless and his family most recently fell behind on their taxes and had their mobile home repossessed. Now Wanless is a recipient of one of the largest undivided Jackpot in U.S. history. In a brief press conference Wanless stated, "I want to thank the Lord for giving me this opportunity and blessing me with this great fortune. I will not squander it," he said. Wanless will take home a lump sum of 88.5 million dollars after taxes.

Brooklyn rapper and producer Ron Braunstein, better known as Necro was fined $3,000 yesterday after he left another individual with a fractured cheek bone. The altercation between the two men occurred during the Australian leg of the rapper's international tour.

Necro was standing outside of a cafe when he was approached by two other men who accused him of looking at them the wrong way. The men allegedly demanded in an aggressive manner, "What the fuck are you looking at?"

Necro's defense lawyer later claimed that Necro replied, in an effort to calm the situation, "What's your problem? I'm not looking at you but I can look at who I fucking want." The situation reportedly became physical, at which point Necro punched one of the men multiple times and was later aided by friend Christopher Catenacci who's involvement only served to escalate the altercation.

After authorities were called to the scene, both Necro and Catenacci were arrested, resulting in the cancellation of the rapper's performance at the Hyde Park Hotel.
