NFL wide receiver Chris Henry was tragically killed today after falling out the back of a pick up truck during a domestic dispute with his fiance. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said Henry died at 6:36 a.m. Thursday. Henry was 26. Henry was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after being found on a residential road "apparently suffering life-threatening injuries," according to police. Police said a dispute began at a home about a half-mile away, and Henry jumped into the bed of the pickup truck as his fiancee was driving away from the residence. Police said at some point when she was driving, Henry "came out of the back of the vehicle."

"We knew him in a different way than his public persona," Bengals owner Mike Brown said of the player who was suspended five times during his career. "He had worked through the troubles in his life and had finally seemingly reached the point where everything was going to blossom. And he was going to have the future we all wanted for him. It's painful to us. We feel it in our hearts, and we will miss him."

Chris Henry leaves behind a his fiance, Loleini Tonga and three children. Fortune Infinite would like to send our condolences to the family and friends of Chris Henry, his fiance, and his children, and may God watch over him and his family.

FORTUNEate and unFORTUNEate Person of the Day 12/14/09

FORTUNEate Person of the Day 12/14/09

Renee Patterson of of Marlboro, Maryland was given an early Christmas present after receiving a much needed kidney in part of the 26-person transplant effort, coordinated through Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center. This is one of the largest of such procedures ever completed in the U.S., where would be 13 donors and 13 recipients would be involved. Ms. Patterson is one of the recipients, who was diagnosed with kidney disease nine years ago. Ms. Patterson has been patiently waiting for a match, and was undergoing kidney dialysis to slow down her deteriorating kidney when she was told that a match had been found for her.

According to the Alliance for Paired Donation, many people who need kidney transplants have family members or friends willing to give a kidney, only to find out that their blood and tissue are not compatible with their intended recipient.

But now through these so-called paired kidney donation programs, offered by hospitals that specialize in transplantation, people who otherwise would remain ill or on dialysis are getting a new lease on life. In paired kidney donation, one incompatible donor/recipient pair, such as Patterson and Williams, are matched with another pair in the same situation, so that the donor of the first kidney gives to the recipient of the second, and vice versa. In larger kidney exchanges, donors and recipients are mixed and matched, giving more people the chance to obtain a new kidney.

Merry Christmas Ms.Patterson and we hope that everything works out well, and God blesses you with more love to spare on this Earth!!!
